Compact 5-Key Driver Identification for Vans and HGVs

The TC-261048 is a compact five-key driver identification keypad. Drivers enter a PIN of 4 to 14 digits using keys 1-5, confirmed with the * key, and the keypad sends the Driver ID to the tracker over the 1-Wire (iButton) interface. Quick and simple, it is ideal for tight van and HGV cabs.

A secure alternative to iButton keys, it works with the Driver Authentication feature of compatible trackers, including immobiliser control where configured.

How It Works

• Driver enters a PIN of 4 to 14 digits using keys 1-5, then the * key, on the backlit keypad

• The keypad sends the Driver ID to the tracker over the 1-Wire iButton interface

• The tracker authenticates the driver, reports to your platform and, if configured, releases the immobiliser
