Rugged IP68 Driver Identification for Fleet Vehicles
The STL-1307 is a heavy-duty, IP68-rated driver identification keypad. Drivers enter a PIN of 4 to 14 digits, confirmed with the # key, and the keypad sends the Driver ID to the tracker over the 1-Wire (iButton) interface. Resin-filled and fully sealed, it is built for trucks and outdoor mounting.
A secure alternative to iButton keys, it works with the Driver Authentication feature of compatible trackers, including immobiliser control where configured.
How It Works
Driver enters a PIN of 4 to 14 digits, confirmed with the # key, on the backlit keypad
The keypad sends the Driver ID to the tracker over the 1-Wire iButton interface
The tracker authenticates the driver, reports to your platform and, if configured, releases the immobiliser
