Overview

The KnightX 100 connects via LTE Cat 1 with GSM fallback across a broad set of international frequency bands, ensuring reliable coverage across the UK and internationally. Multi-constellation GNSS — GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS — delivers position accuracy under 1.5 metres CEP, with a cold start time under 15 seconds and hot start under 2 seconds. When GNSS signal is limited — indoors, underground, or in dense urban environments — the device supplements positioning with Wi-Fi and LBS (mobile cell) data for continuous location awareness across all scenarios.

Real-time location updates can be configured as frequently as every 3 seconds, and location points are buffered when out of network coverage and uploaded automatically on reconnection.

The KnightX 100 uses LTE Cat 1, offering broader band support, higher data throughput, and wider compatibility across standard UK and international LTE networks — making it the right choice for most deployments. The KnightX 300 uses LTE Cat M1, an IoT-optimised protocol with lower power consumption on Cat M1-enabled networks, suited to deployments where maximum battery efficiency on Cat M1 infrastructure is the priority. If you need broad LTE Cat 1 coverage and faster data exchange, choose the KnightX 100. If your network supports Cat M1 and you want to push battery endurance further, consider the KnightX 300.
