The Orbcomm ST9101 is an enhanced version of the ST9100 dual-mode satellite-cellular terminal, adding two critical capabilities for high-security IoT deployments: active cellular jamming detection and an optional IP67-rated external antenna for improved cellular reception. As cellular network jamming becomes an increasing security concern for fleet operators and cargo managers, the ST9101 provides a proactive defence — detecting jamming attempts and triggering immediate alerts so solution providers and their customers can respond quickly.

The optional improved antenna delivers better signal gain and cellular reception, reducing reliance on satellite connectivity and lowering total data costs — particularly important for IoT applications that transmit large volumes of data.
