The TAT140 upgrades to 4G LTE Cat 1 for faster data and worldwide coverage — the recommended choice for most new UK and European deployments. The TAT240 adds magnetic tamper detection for immediate removal alerts and uses LTE Cat 1 — best suited when tamper alerting is the priority. For new long-term deployments we recommend the TAT140.
