Teltonika FTM134 — LTE Cat M1/NB-IoT Hardwired GPS Tracker for Global Fleet Telematics

The Teltonika FTM134 is a compact LTE Cat M1/NB-IoT hardwired GPS tracker designed for global IoT fleet deployments. Available in three Quectel BG95 module variants — the Q2AB0 (Cat M1), Q3AB0 (Cat M1 + NB2 + 2G fallback) and Q5AB0 (Cat M1 + NB2) — the FTM134 delivers reliable, low-power vehicle tracking across an extensive range of international LTE frequency bands, making it ideal for multinational fleets and global asset tracking deployments.

With sub-1.5 metre GNSS positioning accuracy from GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU and QZSS combined, Bluetooth 5.2 LE for Teltonika EYE Sensor and Beacon integration, and a CAN bus interface for vehicle diagnostic data, the FTM134 packs professional-grade telematics into a compact 77 × 63 mm body weighing just 73.7 g. It is the Cat M1/NB-IoT companion to the FTC134, sharing the same form factor and I/O architecture but replacing Cat 1 with a lower-power, wider-coverage connectivity stack suited to global IoT networks.

Key Features

  • LTE Cat M1 / NB-IoT (NB2) connectivity across 17+ international frequency bands for global IoT fleet deployments

  • Multi-constellation GNSS — GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU and QZSS — with sub-1.5 m CEP accuracy and 135 tracking channels

  • Bluetooth 5.2 + LE for Teltonika EYE Sensor and EYE Beacon integration (temperature, humidity, driver ID, asset tracking)

  • CAN bus interface for vehicle diagnostic and OEM data reading

  • Flexible I/O: 4 digital inputs, 3 digital outputs, 4 analog inputs and 1-Wire for Dallas temperature sensors

  • Advanced driver behaviour monitoring: eco driving, crash detection, overspeeding, idling detection and towing detection

  • Three sleep modes (Online Sleep, Deep Sleep, Power Off Sleep) for power-efficient IoT deployments

  • 2G/GPRS network fallback on Q3AB0 variant for maximum network compatibility

  • Remote FOTA firmware updates via Telematics Configuration Tool (TCT) or FOTA Web

  • USB Type-C configuration port; Nano-SIM; 128 MB internal flash memory

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the FTM134 Q2AB0, Q3AB0 and Q5AB0 variants?

The three variants use different Quectel BG95 modules. The Q2AB0 supports LTE Cat M1 only. The Q3AB0 adds NB-IoT (NB2) support and 2G/GPRS fallback, giving the broadest possible network compatibility — recommended where Cat M1 coverage may be limited. The Q5AB0 supports Cat M1 and NB2 without 2G fallback. Contact us to confirm the right variant for your region.

What is the difference between the FTM134 and the FTC134?

The FTC134 uses LTE Cat 1 connectivity with higher data throughput (up to 10 Mbps download). The FTM134 uses LTE Cat M1/NB-IoT, which consumes less power and offers broader IoT network compatibility across global Cat M1 and NB-IoT networks. Both share the same compact form factor and I/O architecture.

Does the FTM134 support Teltonika EYE Sensors and Beacons?

Yes. The FTM134 includes Bluetooth 5.2 LE, enabling full compatibility with the Teltonika EYE Sensor range (standard, EN12830, ATEX) and EYE Beacon range (standard, ATEX, Mesh) for temperature, humidity and driver ID monitoring alongside GPS tracking.

Can the FTM134 read CAN bus data from the vehicle?

Yes. The FTM134 includes a CAN bus interface (configurable via software-defined pinout), enabling it to read vehicle diagnostic and OEM data from the CAN bus alongside standard GNSS and telematics data.

How is the FTM134 configured?

The FTM134 is configured using Teltonika's Telematics Configuration Tool (TCT) via USB Type-C connection. It supports SMS-based quick configuration and remote configuration changes via GPRS. Firmware can be updated remotely using FOTA Web or TCT.
