Teltonika FTC965
Next-generation high voltage 4G LTE Cat 1 vehicle GPS tracker with enhanced GNSS accuracy, IP69K resistance, and Bluetooth® 5.4 connectivity. Built on Teltonika's FT platform for trucks, HGV, buses and heavy machinery operating on 12V or 24V systems.

Teltonika FTC965 — High Voltage 4G LTE Cat 1 IP69K GPS Tracker with Enhanced GNSS Accuracy
The Teltonika FTC965 is a next-generation high voltage 4G LTE Cat 1 vehicle GPS tracker built on Teltonika's advanced FT platform — designed for fleets where 24V systems, harsh operating conditions and enhanced positioning accuracy are the standard. Built for trucks, buses, HGV, construction and agricultural machinery, the FTC965 combines IP69K maximum waterproof protection, enhanced multi-constellation GNSS with up to 41 visible satellites, and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless accessory connectivity — all in a hardwired device engineered to operate reliably across the full voltage range of commercial vehicle electrical systems.
Its support for high voltage inputs makes it the natural choice for operators running mixed fleets of cars and commercial vehicles, or deploying into HGV, coach and heavy plant where a 24V electrical system is the norm. IP69K protection means the FTC965 withstands high-pressure, high-temperature water jets during routine pressure washing in agriculture, construction and transport depot environments — without any additional protective housing required. Combined with 4G LTE Cat 1 connectivity for fast and reliable UK network coverage, FOTA Web remote management and full compatibility with Teltonika's driver identification and BLE sensor accessories, the FTC965 is a capable single-device solution for demanding commercial fleet deployments.
As an official Teltonika distributor in the UK, Tracking Hardware UK ships the FTC965 directly from our London warehouse — with trade pricing available for telematics service providers, fleet operators and resellers.
Key Features
High voltage input — supports the full voltage range of commercial vehicles including 24V HGV, bus and coach electrical systems, making the FTC965 suitable for mixed 12V/24V fleet deployments without additional hardware
4G LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback — fast and reliable connectivity for real-time fleet tracking on modern UK and European networks, with automatic 2G fallback ensuring continuous coverage across all geographies
Up to 41 visible satellites — enhanced multi-constellation GNSS with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou tracking up to 41 satellites simultaneously for under 1.5 metre positioning accuracy — significantly better than standard trackers
IP69K maximum waterproof protection — the highest ingress protection rating available, providing complete protection against dust and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets — safe for pressure washing in agriculture, construction and transport depot environments
Bluetooth 5.4 — connects to EYE Sensors, temperature probes and driver identification accessories for extended wireless monitoring without additional wiring
FT platform device — built on Teltonika's advanced Fleet Telematics platform with consistent firmware, configuration tooling and remote management across the FT device family
Crash detection — detects and logs crash events using accelerometer data for accident reconstruction and insurance evidence
Tow detection — alerts when the vehicle is moved without ignition
Unplug detection — alerts when the device is disconnected from vehicle power
Network jamming detection — detects cellular network interference and jamming attempts
Eco driving monitoring — tracks harsh braking, acceleration and cornering for driver behaviour scoring
Geofencing — configurable zone alerts when vehicles enter or exit defined areas
Smart ignition detection — automatically detects ignition status by monitoring external voltage patterns without manual threshold configuration
128MB internal memory — stores records when out of network coverage
USB-C interface — for firmware updates and configuration
FOTA Web and TCT — remote firmware and configuration management
Driver Identification with Tracking Hardware UK BLE Keypad
The FTC965 supports Bluetooth 5.4 and is compatible with the Tracking Hardware UK BLE driver identification keypad. Drivers enter their unique PIN or present their card at the start of each trip and the driver ID is logged alongside all GPS and telematics data — providing complete driver accountability with no additional wiring required. FTC965 vs FTC961 — What Is the Difference?
Both the FTC965 and FTC961 are 4G LTE Cat 1 FT platform trackers with enhanced GNSS accuracy, IP69K protection and Bluetooth connectivity. The FTC965 adds high voltage input support for 24V commercial vehicle systems — making it the correct choice for HGV, bus, coach and heavy plant deployments. The FTC961 is designed for standard 12V vehicle installations. For mixed 12V/24V fleets or any deployment involving commercial vehicles, the FTC965 is the recommended device.
FTC965 vs FMB965 — What Is the Difference?
The FMB965 is the 2G predecessor in Teltonika's 965 series. The FTC965 replaces it with 4G LTE Cat 1 connectivity, enhanced multi-constellation GNSS with up to 41 visible satellites, Bluetooth 5.4 and the FT platform architecture. For new deployments the FTC965 is the recommended choice. For regions where 2G coverage remains the most cost-effective option, the FMB965 remains available.
