2-Way Radio & Push-to-Talk Communication

The HeroX 100 features a built-in speakerphone interface that enables 2-way audio and push-to-talk (PTT) communication between drivers and fleet managers — directly through the tracking platform. Using the optional Push-to-Talk accessory, this transforms the HeroX 100 into a complete in-cab communication device with no separate radio hardware required. Ideal for logistics, construction, and field service fleets that need both tracking and driver communication in a single hardwired unit.

Is the HeroX 100 compatible with Tracking Hardware driver ID keypads?

Yes. The HeroX 100 supports both 1-Wire (iButton) and BLE 5.1, making it fully compatible with our driver identification solutions. The 1-Wire interface works directly with our iButton reader for iButton key fob driver ID; BLE 5.1 supports our Bluetooth driver ID tag. Does the HeroX 100 support push-to-talk without a separate radio?

Yes. The optional TOPFLYtech Push-to-Talk accessory connects to the built-in speakerphone port to enable 2-way voice communication via your tracking platform. No additional radio is required.

Can the HeroX 100 immobilise a vehicle?

Yes. Two digital relay outputs allow remote or keypad-triggered vehicle immobilisation. The platform, or a connected driver ID keypad, can cut the ignition circuit when an unauthorised driver is detected or a remote command is issued.
