Teltonika FMB010 — 2G Plug and Track OBD GPS Tracker

The Teltonika FMB010 is a compact plug-and-play 2G GPS tracker that connects directly to a vehicle's OBD-II port — no wiring, no installation tools required. Powered by the OBD connector itself, it begins tracking immediately on insertion. It reads real OBD-II vehicle data including odometer, fuel level, RPM and engine temperature, and supports Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless accessory connectivity. The FMB010 is ideal for car sharing, rental fleets, light commercial vehicles and any deployment where fast non-invasive installation is a priority.

Key Features

  • OBD-II plug-and-play — inserts directly into the OBD-II port, powered by the vehicle, no tools or wiring required

  • OBD-II data reading — reads real odometer, fuel level, RPM, engine temperature, coolant temperature and fault codes

  • 2G quad-band GSM/GPRS — worldwide cellular connectivity with automatic network selection

  • Internal GNSS — GPS and GLONASS with internal patch antenna for accurate position fixes

  • Bluetooth 4.0 LE — connects to BLE sensors and Teltonika EYE accessories for extended monitoring

  • Compact form factor — 71.8 × 35.5 × 20.8 mm, fits discreetly in the OBD port of any passenger car or light van

  • No external wiring — fully self-contained unit, powered and connected through a single OBD-II connector

  • Crash and harsh driving detection — built-in accelerometer for impact alerts and driver behaviour scoring

  • Geofencing and over-speeding alerts — configurable zone and speed threshold notifications

  • Over-the-air configuration — remotely configurable via Teltonika Configurator and FOTA Web

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the FMB010 require any installation or wiring?

No — the FMB010 plugs directly into the OBD-II diagnostic port found in all petrol and diesel cars and light vans manufactured after 2001 in Europe (2008 in the UK). No wiring, no tools and no technician are required. The device is powered entirely through the OBD-II connector.

What OBD-II data can the FMB010 read from the vehicle?

The FMB010 reads standard OBD-II PID data including vehicle speed, RPM, engine load, engine coolant temperature, fuel level (where supported by the vehicle), odometer reading, throttle position and stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). Data availability depends on the vehicle manufacturer's OBD implementation.

Is the FMB010 compatible with the Tracking Hardware UK driver identification keypad?

The FMB010 does not have a 1-Wire or RS232 interface, so it is not compatible with the 1-Wire driver identification keypad. For driver ID functionality on OBD-connected vehicles, consider the FMB020 or a wired Teltonika device such as the FMB120 or FMB140. Contact us for advice on the right device for your application.

Will the FMB010 drain the vehicle battery when the ignition is off?

The FMB010 monitors ignition state through the OBD-II connector and enters a low-power sleep mode when the vehicle is parked. Current draw in sleep mode is minimal. For vehicles parked for extended periods, Teltonika's configurable deep sleep settings can reduce power consumption further.

Can I buy the FMB010 in bulk from Tracking Hardware UK?
