Teltonika FTC305 — compact 4G e-mobility tracker with CAN BMS/ECU reading and 10-97V input for e-bikes and e-scooters. Official Teltonika UK distributor.

Teltonika FTC305 — 4G LTE Cat 1 E-Mobility Tracker with CAN Data Reading and OEM Factory Integration
The Teltonika FTC305 is the 4G LTE Cat 1 version of Teltonika's next-generation FTx305 e-mobility tracker series — the recommended choice for UK and European e-mobility deployments. Built on Teltonika's advanced FT platform, the FTC305 is designed from the ground up for electric mobility — reading CAN data from e-bike, e-scooter, e-forklift and electric utility vehicle Battery Management Systems and ECUs, supporting a wide 10-97V power input and providing enhanced GNSS accuracy with up to 41 visible satellites for precise urban tracking.
One of the FTC305's most distinctive features is its availability in two versions — the standard IP67 casing version for aftermarket installation, and a unique no-casing version with external antennas and a significantly larger 1,200mAh battery specifically designed for OEM factory integration inside e-bike and e-bicycle frames. This makes the FTC305 the natural choice for e-bike and e-scooter manufacturers who want to embed professional GPS tracking and BMS data reading directly into their products at the point of manufacture.
As an official Teltonika distributor in the UK, Tracking Hardware UK ships the FTC305 directly from our London warehouse — with trade pricing available for telematics service providers, e-mobility operators, OEM manufacturers and resellers.
FTC305 Versions
Standard casing version — compact IP67 waterproof housing with internal antennas and 380mAh Li-ion backup battery for aftermarket installation on e-bikes, e-scooters, e-forklifts and other high-voltage electric vehicles.
No-casing OEM version — board-level device without housing, featuring external antennas and a significantly larger 1,200mAh Li-ion battery, designed for direct integration inside e-bike and e-bicycle frames and other e-mobility vehicle enclosures during factory manufacturing. Contact us to discuss the no-casing version for OEM projects.
Key Features
CAN data reading — reads Battery Management System and ECU data directly from the vehicle via CAN interface, enabling battery performance monitoring, state of charge estimation, fault detection and operational data logging for comprehensive e-mobility fleet management
Wide 10-97V power input — covers e-bikes and e-scooters on 10-12V through to industrial e-forklifts, shuttle cars and utility machinery on 48V, 72V and higher voltage systems
4G LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback — fast and reliable UK and European network connectivity with automatic 2G fallback — the recommended LTE standard for UK e-mobility deployments
Up to 41 visible satellites — enhanced multi-constellation GNSS with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou for under 1.8 metre accuracy — particularly valuable in dense urban environments with limited satellite visibility
IP67 waterproof and dustproof — fully sealed enclosure protecting against dust and water ingress for reliable outdoor and all-weather e-mobility vehicle operation
BLE 5.3 — connects to Bluetooth Low Energy accessories and sensors for extended monitoring and driver identification capabilities
380mAh LiPo backup battery — casing version maintains device operation if primary vehicle power is interrupted
Accelerometer — enables crash detection, green driving monitoring, over-speeding detection, jamming detection and unplug detection
2 digital outputs and 1 digital/analogue input — for remote immobilisation, alarm control and sensor connectivity
Nano SIM — standard nano SIM slot for straightforward connectivity setup
Smart ignition detection — automatically detects ignition status by monitoring external voltage patterns
Multiple sleep modes — online sleep, deep sleep and power off sleep for optimised power management
FOTA Web and TCT updates — remote firmware and configuration management
Driver Identification with Tracking Hardware UK BLE Keypad
The FTC305 supports BLE 5.3 and is compatible with the Tracking Hardware UK BLE driver identification keypad. Riders or operators enter their unique PIN or present their card at the start of each trip and the driver ID is logged alongside all CAN and GPS data — providing complete accountability across e-bike fleets, shared micro-mobility services and e-forklift operations. Contact us to discuss keypad and FTC305 bundle pricing.
FTC305 vs FTM305 — Which Should You Choose?
Both devices share the same CAN data reading capability, 10-97V power input, IP67 casing and FT platform features. Both are available in standard casing and no-casing OEM versions. The FTC305 uses LTE Cat 1 for faster data speeds on standard 4G networks — the recommended choice for UK and European e-mobility deployments. The FTM305 uses LTE Cat M1 and NB-IoT for broader global IoT coverage — better suited for international deployments outside of Europe. For UK deployments the FTC305 is the correct choice.
